3 Tips To Get You Started Investing in Property

“How can I get started investing in real estate?” I get this question all the time, and I understand why. Real estate is one of the best investments you can make, which is why I’m sharing three great tips to help you get started:

1. Start with passive investing. You don’t have to make a big purchase to make a big splash. Becoming a limited partner or investing in a trust is a great way to reap the benefits of someone else putting in the groundwork. Plus, you can skip the hassle of being a landlord.

“Real estate is always a smart investment. ”

2. Look for specific property types. Not all investment properties are created equal. A few good options include a single-family home near an elementary school or a property near a university. These types of homes will always be in demand, so you can cut down on unoccupied time and bring in more profit.

3. Do the math before you buy. Even if you find the right home, that doesn’t guarantee you’ll make money off it. Calculate cash flow and projected equity to make sure you’re making a good investment before putting down significant funds.

As always, don’t hesitate to call or email us with any questions. I look forward to hearing from you!
